The mobile crushing station generally integrates feeding (which may include the breaking of large pieces at the material opening), crushing, and conveying into one. The walking adopts crawler type or tire type (also has stepping type), and can move with the movement of the working surface at any time.

The semi-mobile crushing station is to place the machine body at a suitable working level in the open pit. As the working steps advance and deepen, a crawler transporter or other traction (pulling) equipment is used to transport the crushing unit integrally or dividedly.

Apart from the time of relocation, one of the more important difference between a semi-mobile crushing station and a mobile crushing station is the location of the equipment.

The semi-mobile crushing station is usually arranged on the working side of the stope, where the ore and rock transport distance is less than 3km. When the stope steps extend beyond the reasonable distance and climb height of the car, the next move will be made.

Characteristics

• It not only has the advantage of being mobile, but also overcomes the shortcomings of semi-fixed station construction and long relocation time:

• The main equipment, non-standard steel structure parts and standard parts such as walkway escalators are designed and supplied for the whole set. The construction and installation are fast and efficient, so the owner can save time and effort.

• Short construction period. It can be manufactured and pre-assembled in the factory. After troubleshooting, it can be disassembled and shipped to the project site for rapid assembly. Each component is connected by bolts, almost without on-site welding, which is conducive to rapid construction and production.

• More reasonable investment. There are few civil works, no concrete construction above the ground, low labor intensity, equipment and steel structure investment accounts for a higher proportion of total investment, and steel structure still has a high residual value after a certain number of years.

• The semi-mobile crushing station possesses the ability of mobile transition. It can be separated and transferred to another location for installation again, but the transition frequency should not be too high.

Semi-fixed crushing station is a transition from semi-mobile crushing station to fixed crushing station.

From the perspective of the connection with the ground, the crushing frame has a strong connection with the ground (anchor piles can be used for the bedrock part, and reinforced concrete foundation can be used for the loose area).

From the perspective of the location of the installation, it is generally fixed on the fixed side of the stope to reduce the frequency of removal as much as possible and increase the service cycle, especially for rock crushing and transportation.

When the fixed crushing station is moved, only the equipment body that is bolted to the foundation can be disassembled and moved for reuse, and the foundation buried below the ground would be discarded.

Characteristics

• The semi-fixed crushing plant has a solid foundation, so it can be large-scaled in the selection, and is suitable for mines with large processing capacity.

The fixed crushing station is usually arranged outside the stope boundary and is not affected by the advancement of the stope steps. It has a solid connection with the ground.

The feeding methods are diversified. They can be unloaded directly by cars, or they can be fed by the ore discharging device with a buffer silo. The fixed crushing station is generally in the crushing workshop of the concentrator and has the same life span as the mine.

Characteristics

• The ore transportation distance is long, and it can’t be adjusted reasonably.

• Because of the large processing capacity and the large feed size of the fixed crushing station, the rotary or jaw crusher is mostly used
